Since its humble beginnings in 1980, Ruhunu Farms has grown ceaselessly to become the leading provider of high quality eggs in southern Sri Lankan.
We have over 40 years of experience in layer breeding, and own both free range and cage-bred hens.
PRODUCTS
EGGS
White eggs are our primary product. Our in-house facility ensures that nothing but the highest quality eggs leave it though stringent quality control standards and structured sorting. Eggs are available in four grades: Extra-large, large, medium, and small.
FEEDS
Ruhunu Farms is the sole distributor of Ceylon Grain Elevators (CGE) animal feed, supplying Prima’s poultry, cattle and fish feed in Hambantota.
POULTRY MANURE
We have pure fertilizer that is high in nitrogen, collected directly from the chicken coop. Dry fertilizer is also available.
Day-old hyline chicks
We are the sole distributor of day-old hyline chicks, supplying regional farms in collaboration with Ceylon Grain Elevators (Prima).
FEED INGREDIENTS
We source and supply major animal feed ingredients from regional farm land and mills to our customer’s doors step.
EQUIPMENT
We also supply high-grade poultry equipment to small-scale growers.
